The words of Francesc Cassú about Amb Catalunya al cor (With Catalonia in our hearts)

I have already spoken at length of the excellence of this new Catalan orchestra -what a luxury!- on the occasion of their two previous recordings and, as a fervent admirer, will continue to do so whenever I can. The release of this third record provides an opportunity to celebrate the fact that the orchestra is still very much alive, with a spirit of renovation and even transgression, and a desire to make a name for itself on the cultural scene of Catalonia.

We are now beginning to have a fully consolidated all-Catalan repertory with a wide variety of themes ranging from the early sardana to contemporary music. This third project reinforces the previous recording, and may open up paths towards future goals, which -who knows?- may continue to delight us. Finally, let us not forget that the most important thing of all is to continue enjoying the complicity and sensitivity of the Lagares family, the true architects of this project.
