Girona is a city of music and the cycle 'Emociona't amb la Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya' is reliable proof of this. Compressing the Christmas spirit in various pieces by very varied artists, the SCCC closes this musical compendium that has had the participation of hundreds of artists and which thousands of spectators have been able to enjoy.

As a city we should be proud to enjoy this musical dynamism and that a municipal space like the Auditori is its epicenter. Likewise, we must be grateful to the Fundació Metalquimia for offering a symphonic proposal that surprises year after year thanks to the fusion of the winds of La Principal de la Bisbal and the strings and percussion of the Jove Orquestra de les Comarques Gironines. For sure, an innovative project that already appears on the agendas of many Girona residents.

It’s so a demonstration that the work of the Foundation in the cultural and musical field is of incalculable value for a city like ours. For this reason, last year the city thanked them by naming them town criers and that is why the commitment is to accompany the Foundation to the extent possible. Culture is a pillar that defines the city model we want. That it is of quality, that it reaches everywhere and to all ages. And the Fundació Metalquimia is a key piece in this mechanism.
