Mare Mundi at Vallviva Festival

La Vall d'en Bas, July 8, 2026 – The Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya (SCCC) kicked off this year's Vallviva Festival tonight with a resounding success. The ensemble performed Mare Mundi: Tribut al Mar, an ambitious large-scale musical production that pays tribute to life and emotion through the powerful symbolism of the sea.

Playing to a completely sold-out crowd, over 120 musicians shared the stage—including the Polifònica de Puig-reig choir and featured vocalists Beth, Mariona Escoda, Samantha, Joan Garrido, and Arjau—captivating the audience in the natural landscape of La Garrotxa. Through this charity performance, the SCCC once again brings together local musical excellence and country heritage to support the philanthropic mission of the Vallviva Foundation.
