The current legal provisions, together with the utmost prudence and respect for health security in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, have led the organizers of the project "Emociona't amb la SCCC: 25 Anys de Música Global" to make the decision to postpone the presentation concerts for 2021. The concerts of the Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya (SCCC), which were to take place at the end of this November at the Girona Auditorium, are moved to June 18, 19 and 20, 2021, at the times to be announced soon.

The SCCC apologizes to all the people who had tickets for the 4 scheduled concerts, as well as to all the musicians and the team that has been working for a long time to carry out the project. In the words of Josep Lagares, vice-president of Fundació Metalquimia and one of the promoters of the concert: “We are committed to a safe and controlled cultural activity and will return as soon as possible with renewed vigor, to be able to perform live with all the guarantees and, who knows, maybe we can even hug! ”

The organization wants this birthday concert to be a big party for everyone, and to be held when the health situation has normalized and COVID-19 prevention measures are minimized.

Despite the postponement of the concerts, the launch of the new CD "Emociona't amb la SCCC: 25 Anys de Música Global" on the main record distribution channels is still being held for this Christmas 2020. As Salvi Cufí, president of Música Global Discogràfica, states, "despite the current difficulties, we continue in the line that has always characterized us with total support for culture, our music and our artists."

The new work features the participation of singers Manu Guix, Elena Gadel, Miki Núnez and Paula Giberga, as well as the Polifònica de Puig-reig choir, who will perform the most emblematic pieces that have marked the trajectory of the record company Música Global and also of Catalan music of the last 25 years, reversing songs by Blaumut, Doctor Prats, Lax'n'Busto, Gossos, Sopa de Cabra or Els Amics de les Arts, among many others.

Tickets already purchased will be valid for new dates; however, people wishing to return them must contact the Girona Auditorium via email, and their return will be processed immediately. The deadline to process the return of purchased tickets is December 31, 2020.
